I just completed my Reiki I instruction with Rose De Dan of Wild Reiki and Shamanic Healing! Reiki II starts next month and will finish mid-December. After that I will launch Fat Tabby and Friends Animal Companion Reiki and will be available for scheduling appointments after the first of the year. I’m thrilled to be offering this new service to my clients!

Karen and I will be taking a bit of time off the first two weeks of October and will have a greatly reduced schedule. Summer (which began in March) has been insane and we are pooped! Plus I’ll be working on a yard sale benefit for a disabled Veteran who is a friend in Missouri who opens up his 30 acre spread to homeless veterans and homeless pets.

The last two weeks in October are already booking up so if you know you are leaving please call as soon as possible.

I will also be taking my yearly Holiday Party break the November 28 – December 4. I host a party for my kids and grandkids and it’s a huge endeavor. It’s usually quiet for pet sitting at that time too.

We will be changing things for the Holidays: Christmas last year was nothing short of a nightmare with me being completely overbooked, snow, ice, and those tourists(!) blocking roads right and left. I was working 18 hour days alone and didn’t get to see my parents or in laws at all – not even to drop by to say hello. This year we will be limiting bookings to a total of six: three for me and three for Karen. If you think you might have Christmas plans in the works please book now. There will be a $20 surcharge on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day only.
