Here at Fat Tabby summer busy season unofficially began about February – but without the heat. Now that the heat has hit here is our summer program:
Most once a day jobs will be done by 11:00 am if possible.
All long dog walks will be done before noon. Only shorter walks in shady areas after noon.
All dog walks on pavement and cement will be done by 10:00 am. If you can’t stand on it barefoot neither can your dog. If there are nearby alternatives to pavement be please sure your Fat Tabby sitter is aware of them.
Late afternoon dog visits will include time enough for a bathroom break but playing will be discouraged. Your pets and our sitters can both get heatstroke.
Fat Tabby requires a minimum of two sources of water at all times. The toilet doesn’t count but is a good just in case back up.
The health of all involved, sitters and pets, are of the utmost importance. Thank you for your support with our summer schedule.
REMEMBER: PLEASE NEVER LEAVE A PET IN A HOT CAR AT ANY TIME DAY OR NIGHT!
